下洞村是福建省漳州市云霄县下河乡下辖的行政村，位于县境西部渔鼓溪畔、十字牌岭下，云平公路穿村而过。村名取自村中一副对联的首字。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

村庄形似葫芦，坡圳环绕，溪流迂回。村名取村中楼上一副对联的首字，又因闽南语中「霞」与「下」读音相近，故称下洞。[1]

此地解放前隶吉龙乡霞埔保，解放初为第四区下洞乡所辖。1958年改设下洞大队，起初属跃进公社，1961年改属车圩公社。1984年公社改乡，大队改称村委会。1989年1月，三个自然村分出另立为畲族村。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村有475户、1900多人，辖3个自然村、7个村民小组，村民以黄姓为主，另有少数杨姓。[1]

2022年12月，省爱卫会评定本村为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
