山美村是福建省漳州市云霄县莆美镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域东部，324国道旁。村后背靠山林，山上树木茂盛，村名由此而来。旧称山尾。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村在1984年改设为莆美乡山美村。此前的1958年，此地为莆美公社山尾大队；1952年尚属东厦公社象山乡。[1]

经济[edit]

村内规划有阳下工业区山美小区，已有恒博光电、华翰明光电、汇泰木业等企业入驻。村民以务农和外出务工为主。[1]
