仁和村在九龙江北港出海口，属浒茂岛东部，南面临着九龙江。全村总面积20平方公里，共有830户3379人。[1][2]

村子由仁和、会魁、合兴三个自然社组成，以林姓为主，村中有仁兴宫、凤魁宫和合兴宫等庙宇。[1][2]

建制变迁[edit]

明嘉靖年间，这里属龙溪县二十八都的浒茂社；清乾隆年间归二十八都浒茂保。民国28年划入第六区乐群乡的仁和保，民国36年改属浒茂乡的仁和保。[2]

1958年撤区并乡，此地划入城内乡；同年9月归海鹰公社的金定耕作区。1959年3月起隶属紫泥公社，1961年析出，单独设立仁和大队。[2]

1984年建乡后称紫泥乡仁和村，1992年撤乡建镇，改称紫泥镇仁和村。[2]

姓氏[edit]

林姓占全村户数的七成，共563户2326人。这一支林姓在清乾隆年间迁入。其他姓氏中，合兴社的吴姓、会魁社的陈姓与连姓，也都有迁入的经历。[2]

宫庙[edit]

仁兴宫位于仁和社，始建于清朝，1992年重建，主奉玄天上帝。庙内有民国二年的石碑，刻着华侨与村民的捐资姓名和数目。[2]

会魁社的凤魁宫建于清朝，1987年重建，供奉谢府元帅。合兴宫位于合兴社，始建于清康熙年间，光绪年间重建，配有戏台。[2]

教育[edit]

1966年，原会魁小学与仁和小学合并为仁和小学。学校现在是一幢三层教学楼，设六个班级。[2]
