白水镇是福建省漳州市龙海区下辖的镇，位于龙海区南部，地处九龙江支流南溪南岸。镇域东面与浮宫镇比邻，西面靠着东泗乡，南边是漳浦县，北边隔着南溪与东园镇对望；至龙海城区约22公里。镇政府设在白水村。[1][2][3]

镇域大部分为山地，西南是中低山，东北为半月形平原。镇下辖1个社区和15个行政村，是龙海南部以农业为主的乡镇，杨梅种植与南美白对虾养殖较为突出。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时南溪中游的冲积滩涂上，沿溪行驶的夫妻船（俗称「白水婆」）常在此聚集捕鱼、出售渔获，后逐步围垦成集镇，地名由此而来。[2]

明隆庆六年（1572年），漳浦县二十八都的一部分划入海澄县，即今白水镇的部分地方。[3][4]

民国三十五年（1946年）5月设白水镇。新中国成立后，这一带先属海澄县第五区，1957年又有漳浦县官浔一带的6个村划来，改归海澄县。[2][5]

1960年两县合并后，这里设为龙海县的白水公社；1984年恢复为镇，名为龙海县白水镇。1993年龙海改为县级市，镇随之更名为龙海市白水镇；2021年龙海设区，白水镇隶属龙海区。[2][4]

白水镇于2022年12月获福建省爱国卫生运动委员会评定，成为「2022年福建省卫生乡镇」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

白水镇位于九龙江南溪中游的右岸。地面大体是西部与南部偏高，多数地段海拔在20至40米；镇内最高点玳瑁山高794米。[1][2]

镇域内有郊边水库、赤兰溪水库等中小型水库。境内矿产以砖红壤性土壤、淡水砂、花岗岩和墨石为主。[1]

龙海区人民政府网站所载白水镇总人口45446人，共13371户。百度百科给出的另一口径是2019年末户籍人口47990人。[1][3]

经济[edit]

镇内山边工业区和金鳌、井园之间的糖果加工区已具规模，工业以食品加工为主。[5]

农业上，杨梅、火龙果、无核荔枝等水果和蔬菜种植较多，南美白对虾养殖也保留下来，成为一项重要产业。[1][2]
