新厝社区是福建省漳州市芗城区石亭街道下辖的社区，位于街道南部，原为新厝村。村庄由邻近的大社分迁出来，故称新厝。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地先属龙溪县，解放前为石亭乡辖地；解放后分入五区、八区和十区，涉及内林乡与下苍乡。1958年划入星火公社，次年改隶浦南公社，1960年又划归龙海县。1961年回到漳州市北斗公社之下，并设新厝大队。1981年改隶石亭公社，1984年设为石亭乡新厝村委会；2020年6月3日起为新厝社区居民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。社区先后入选阿里研究院2020年、2021年和2022年淘宝村名单。[1]
