大埔村隶属南安市溪美街道，位于街道最南端，环绕后桥水库而居，距市区10公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自村内古时的一片大山埔。[1]

村子原属南安三十一都，民国时归东田区管辖，1949年解放后改属城关。1958年公社化时，此地命名为大埔大队；1984年，它改为村委会。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村民主要从事农业与种养业，支柱产业以种植龙眼、杨梅为主。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，大埔村获列为第二批「福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，由省里的农业农村部门认定。[1]
