高坪村是福建省泉州市永春县湖洋镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的正北方向，与德化县龙门滩镇相邻，距镇区约6公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子地处山区，地势较高，山顶又有一小块平地，因此得名高坪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带在宋至清代属十八都。1949年以前为湖洋乡蓬莱保，新中国成立后归第六区、第十区的蓬莱乡管辖。[1]

1958年，它成为湖洋公社蓬莱大队的一部分。1961年，蓬莱大队中划出高坪大队；1984年以后，称高坪村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

晋南永游击队革命旧址种玉堂，博雅地名网记其年代为1930年，为县级文物保护单位。[1]

经济[edit]

据2023年3月发布的县政府报道，村域面积1.6平方公里，是革命老区村。[2]
