沿革[edit]
新中国成立时，村地属阳江县第八区，隶珠垌乡与三麻乡。1958年改设第八区的参垌乡，同年并入塘坪公社参垌管理区。1959年此地成为塘坪镇参垌大队；1983年设参垌乡级政府，1988年改隶阳东区塘坪镇，称参垌管理区。2003年设立参垌村委会，此后沿用。撤区建县的过渡期（1991年至1999年）内，此地属阳东县塘坪镇参垌管理区。[1][2]
