五甲村在镇政府驻地的西面，离驻地约1.7公里，海拔465米，四周山岭连绵。[1]

村名由来：1961年8月，本村从大格村分出为独立村，因村委会设在五甲角落，遂定名五甲。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年8月，此村是感德公社下的五甲大队；1984年由大队改设为村，属感德乡。[1]

该村于2022年1月获得安溪县2020至2021年度文明村镇的称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域内共有五个角落，名称有帮圳、南山、五甲、尉斗仔、北山，全村设20个村民小组，面积约2平方千米。[1]

耕地58.1公顷，山林73.3公顷，茶园68.4公顷。[1]
