山美村是安溪县龙门镇的行政村，位于镇政府驻地西北约3.7公里，在龙门溪西岸河谷盆地的边缘。村内辖6个自然村，村民以施姓为主，是侨乡。村地旧称“山尾”，因地处河谷边缘一座小山上，雅化为“山美”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属依仁里，民国时属龙榜镇，1952年划入第六区，1958年并入官桥公社。后自胜利大队中析出，取名中社大队；1981年恢复“山美”旧名，1984年改设山美村委会。[1]

教育[edit]

侨亲施金城于1985年出资，创办培文中等师范学校。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，村庄列入2022年淘宝村名单。2020年12月，村庄被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
