岭南村位于蓬莱镇西部，离镇区约1千米，村域面积1.8平方千米，下辖14个自然村。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村民在山岭南侧建居，村名由此而来。[4]

新中国成立后一度称溪南，随后设岭南乡，1958年改为岭南大队。1963年体制调整时，大队一分为三，其中一片仍沿用岭南大队之名，直到20世纪80年代才定名岭南村。[3]
