茅坪村是福建省三明市永安市燕南街道隶属的行政村，在城区范围内，现已成为城中村，包括上茅坪、下茅坪和马夷口三个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来历：村民最初住在一片长满茅草的平地上。[1]明清时村子属二十七都。民国时期它归城关镇管辖，分为茅坪保与福利保。[1]

1950年代这里经历数次改名与并入公社，1984年10月设茅坪乡茅坪村，成立村民委员会。[1]1989年12月划归燕南街道办事处。[1]

经济[edit]

村里耕地不多，村子逐步由以农业为主转为以商业为主的第三产业。[1]
