中村村是福建省三明市三元区中村乡下辖的行政村，省道102线穿过境内，村名与乡名相同。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子处在米洋、白水、牛岭三个村的中间位置，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1959年，群峰公社的驻地自居阳迁至此处，公社随之改名为中村人民公社。[3]

1983年此地设中村办事处；1987年撤办事处建乡，中村一带遂为中村乡。[3]

文化[edit]

荣誉方面，本村2022年10月被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，2024年1月获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号，2025年11月被确定为「福建省2025年度省级“一村一品”专业村（兰花）」。[1]
