大埔村是福建省莆田市城厢区东海镇下辖的行政村，全村辖4个自然村。村域北侧临省道201线（滨海大道），福厦铁路与福泉高速公路穿越其间，笏枫公路亦经过这里，交通便捷。[1]

村名取自所辖自然村中规模最大的中大埔。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年此地属莆田县灵川乡的灵川公社，1968年归灵川人民公社革命委员会管理，1975年改设大埔生产大队。1984年10月，大队改称大埔村民委员会，隶属灵川乡。[1]

1988年划归莆田县灵川镇，1999年改属莆田县东海镇，2002年起隶属城厢区东海镇。[1]

经济[edit]

村内民营企业较多，业务涵盖海产养殖、五金线带、建筑承包与建材经营。[2]

文化[edit]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，大埔村三次列入淘宝村名单。2020年11月，大埔村被认定为2020年度莆田市中级版「绿盈乡村」。2021年3月，大埔村被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。2021年11月，大埔村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年10月，大埔村被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，认定机关为福建省农业农村厅。[1]
