南湾村位于福清市上迳镇。据传唐代先人由泉州今鳌（即金鳌村）迁入，村子初称「南潘」，民国时划界量田、立碑记载，改写为「南湾」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清末这一带归渔溪镇辖，1943年划为4甲，归前亭保管辖。1950年起隶属第五区县圃乡，1958年归渔溪公社县圃大队。1973年由县圃大队分出，另立南湾大队，归上迳公社；1984年改为村民委员会，隶属上迳镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，南湾村被评定为「福州市乡村振兴中高级版试点村」。[1] 2021年2月，入选「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1] 国家卫生健康委老龄司于2021年8月将南湾村列为「2021年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1] 2021年11月，南湾村被福建省爱卫办确定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1] 2023年2月，入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1] 2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
