历史沿革[edit]
1950年代初属和垌乡；1956年为大和农业社，1958年成大和大队；1984年设乡政府，1987年改为村民委员会[1]。
地理环境[edit]
位于县道西线公路边，距镇政府16公里。北界广西苍梧县木双镇，东连都平镇，西面是岐岭村，南面是泗科村[1]。
人口民族[edit]
26个村民小组，包括大和口、四位、高界，人口2557人（该页未标年份）[1]。
经济[edit]
耕地1771.5亩，山地27298亩。村里是全镇砂糖桔的主要产地之一，年产超过110万斤；村民主要靠林业和外出务工，人均年收入4400元[1]。2021年9月，该村的杏花鸡入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」[1]。
