大埔村位于宏路街道东南部，沿福厦公路东侧分布，临近龙江。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域内有大埔、上东岭、下东岭三个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自龙江冲积形成的大片沙石滩，俗称“沙石埔”。[1]

明清时属东隅善福里，清末归修仁乡，民国时属瑶峰乡宏路保。新中国成立后一度归宏路乡第一区，继而划入茶亭区；1958年为城关公社的宏路大队，1961年改隶音西公社，其后于1970年并入宏路公社辖区。1984年设村委会，2005年并入宏路街道。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，大埔村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
