红山村原属北厝镇中部，东邻厝祥村，西与先建村毗邻，北面与竹屿海域相接，现属金井镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积三千多亩，南面是冠捷集团所在地，315道穿村而过，是进出综合实验区的必经之路。[2]

人口民族[edit]

全村共有人口1830人。自然村有加田下、半山顶、小湾、上楼与上澳五处，村民小组共13个。[2]

经济[edit]

村民收入多来自外出务工，主要特产为海蛎。[2]

牛寨山位于上楼自然村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1971年从里美大队分离，另建红山大队；1990年，大队改设为村委会。[1]

金井镇于2021年接管该村，此前属北厝镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2008年，红山村获县委组织部授予「先进党支部」称号。[2]

2023年1月，司法部与民政部共同授予红山村「第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」称号。[1]
