东门社区位于福建省福州市平潭县海坛街道，在潭城镇城区的东部，是城关中心的一个社区。社区居民约3000户，人口约13000人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网的历史沿革记为2007年10月，社区从一个旧村委会中析出，设立东门社区居委会；而社区简介则称社区成立于2008年4月23日，两种说法并存。2014年，社区迁至新址，即原旧村部隔壁。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年12月，社区名列「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」。[1]
