长沙村是晓澳镇的行政村，地处闽江口入海口，东面临海，西侧与北侧和道澳村相连，南邻琯头镇。村名来自海域中一处很长的沙滩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地古称龙沙境，旧属永福乡安庆里。南宋年间已有长期定居的民居。明代洪武年间，蒋、姜两姓迁入，此后黄、梁、赵、林等姓陆续迁来。早期移民中有王、阮、庄、兰等姓，其中兰氏为畲族。[1][2]

1956年，长沙归浦口区道澳乡管辖；1959年，成立浦口公社下的长沙大队；1965年，所在公社改称晓澳公社；1984年，改为晓澳镇长沙村。此前，长沙曾属琯头区的定安乡。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域总面积8.25平方千米，内有山地3000多亩、水电用地280亩、滩涂2220多亩。[1]
