南洋村位于福州西南的山村，地处闽江南岸，与县城隔江相望，辖3个自然村。2020年2月，该村列入福建省第三批省级传统村落名单。[1]

村名“南洋”的来历：村委会驻地附近有一片较大的田洋，位置偏南，因此得名。[1]

1984年，南洋村民委员会设立。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子位于闽江南岸，与县城隔江相望，村域内有原始森林、竹林与蔬菜基地。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，本村被福建省农业农村厅列入第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇名单。[1]

本村于2023年11月获评福州市级绿盈乡村中级版村庄。[1]
