港头村位于福建省福州市闽侯县荆溪镇南部，濒临闽江北岸，与上街镇、竹岐乡隔江相望，距福州市区约18公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

1950年民主建政时取名「港头」，此后一直沿用。文革中一度改名「胜利大队」，后又改回「港头」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年设立村委会，村中旧有「九境」等境社，各姓先祖自唐至明陆续迁来定居。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

村中现有1050户，4250多人，辖8个自然村、26个村民小组，博雅地名网未注统计年份。村中海外华侨、港澳台同胞3500多人，是闽侯县的重点侨乡之一。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

凤山书院建于宋代，院内留有清代叶观国1792年撰写的《凤山书院碑记》。村中还有六朝古刹佛顶寺，以及文昌阁、玄帝庙、朱文公祠和叶氏、林氏、程氏宗祠。[2]

经济[edit]

1990年后，胶合板企业在村中兴起，有民营胶合板厂78家，使港头成为胶合板专业村。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年至2022年，港头村连续三年列入「淘宝村」名单。[1]
