历史沿革[edit]
民国年间至1957年，迈谷一带归包西行政村的坑头乡；1958年划入承梧大队，1961年自立迈谷大队。1984年，迈谷、西连、边板三个大队并成西连小乡，1986年重新分设村委会，小乡随即撤销；1988年称管理区，1999年定名迈谷村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年9月，迈谷村获「2022年湛江市先进文明村」和「2022年湛江市文明村」两项认定。[1]
