沙尾村位于漳港街道东南沿海，面向大海，西侧是万沙村，南侧与文武砂相邻，北侧为新厝村。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

早年沿海一带没有防风林，沙地遍布，远望如一条龙，村子最初称沙龙村，后演变为沙尾。[1]

沙尾大队组建于1956年，1985年改设沙尾村委会，此后沿用至今。[1]
