红山村是南阳街道下辖的行政村，位于街道西南部，与瓜沥镇、坎山镇、红山农场相接，村域面积2.8平方千米。村名因村落位于红山脚下而来。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村落在红山的山麓，故名。红山古称折山、赭山，俗称笠帽山。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村地17世纪90年代淤涨成陆，18世纪初狮子山冯氏迁来开荒，定居繁衍，遂成村落。村内镇海殿建于乾隆元年（1736年）。南宋时此地属赭山里，设有盐场。1933年属定江乡，1947年属赭山乡的八保与九保，1949年称赭山乡八村。1958年组建新建农业社，1961年成为红山大队，1984年改设红山村。[2]

交通与地理[edit]

村西侧紧靠滨宜路，滨二路于2019年通车。村内有义南横湾流过。村北面至红十五线，南面临萧山国际机场，东面与赭东村相邻。[1]

人口与组织[edit]

据2022年11月公布的概况，村内设20个村民小组，常住3676人，农户888户。耕地2141亩，山林134亩，党员117名。[1]

荣誉[edit]

「2021年浙江省卫生村」称号在2021年12月授予村。2022年10月，村入选2022年淘宝村名单。2023年1月，村获浙江省2022年度省级「民主法治村（社区）」的认定。「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」称号于2021年5月授予村。[2]
