回龙社区属转塘街道，位于蜈蚣山与浮山南麓、鲤鱼山之东，新袁浦路穿村而过。社区由回龙、张家堡、韩塘三个自然村组成，面积1.2平方公里。[2][3]

名称与沿革[edit]

社区原为回龙村。村内原有一处回字形的龙潭，名为回龙潭，村因潭而得名。[2][3]

2008年，回龙行政村撤村改为社区。[1][2]

百度百科称回龙村于2011年撤村建居，与博雅地名网所载2008年的时间不一，此处并录。[3]
