石马社区位于留下街道的最西面，以驻地石马农居点得名，2012年由石马村撤村设立。[1]社区总面积3.66平方千米，东与小和山社区相邻，西北面与闲林街道的里项、民丰两村交界。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初，此地属杭县屏峰乡，称一村。1956年改为留下镇石马农业社。1958年归杭州市留下公社管辖，为留下管理区下的石马生产队。此后，1959年此地并入留下公社的林场；1961年设石马大队，1984年改为石马行政村。[1]2012年，石马村撤销，改设石马社区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年1月，社区获「浙江省2022年度省级民主法治村（社区）」称号。[1]
