赤坎村是广东省阳江市阳东区大沟镇下辖的行政村。1949年，阳江县恢复区乡建置，此地设赤坎乡，归大沟区管辖。^[1]^[2]

行政沿革[edit]

1958年，赤坎设为生产队；1961年改设赤坎管理委员会。1983年大沟改设为区，赤坎乡政府随之设立；1986年改为赤坎管理区；1999年成立赤坎村委会。^[1]^[2]

2019年9月，赤坎村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。^[1]
