寿长村位于阳东区大沟镇东部，在镇内属行政村一级。村子毗邻寿长河，紧靠河口入海处。据百度百科，村庄建于清咸丰年间，以滩涂海水养殖为主，生蚝最为突出。^[1]^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，寿长河畔曾发生一次伏击战。1963年，此地设寿长生产大队管理委员会；1983年改称寿长乡；1986年改设寿长管理区；1999年改设寿长村委会。^[1]^[2]

村内滩涂养殖场总面积超过3000亩，以生蚝为主。据百度百科，2023年带壳生蚝产量超过4500吨，产值约3000万元。另有记载称，寿长蚝在2020年被收入「全国名特优新农产品名录」。^[2]

2020年8月，寿长蚝列入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。2023年4月，寿长村列入2022年「广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单；同年11月，入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。^[1]
