上葫村在广东省汕尾市陆丰市八万镇西北部，与陆河县河口镇相邻，距镇政府12公里，是镇里离镇区最远的村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时并入八万，称葫峰乡；1952年划归大安区；1959年改属八万公社，因位于「葫芦」之上，取名上葫大队。1983年建乡，1986年设管理区，1999年改为村民委员会。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
村域为丘陵山岗，分11个村民小组，对外只有一条过境公路，距陆丰市区35公里。村集体收入来自引进的花岗岩采石场和一座小水电站；山上种速生桉，水田种稻和花生，另有20多户养猪。[1]下辖自然村有君坑、上寨、丰田、田心、坎下、上各、下各、云楼、坪里、公埔、埔上、新径、岐岭下等13处。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，上葫村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
紫龙洞景区在村内，景区内有建于雍正二年（1725年）的育善庵。[3]
