江坑村在龙岗镇东北部，辖7个村民小组，登记301户、1506人，土地面积6.54平方公里，耕地768亩。[1]种水稻、青榄，甜玉米为特色收入。2026年3月，该村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来有一段说法：此地原叫康坑，是康姓居住地，康姓迁走后朱姓迁入；因「猪食糠」，朱与猪、康与糠谐音，犯忌，康又与江谐音，就改称江坑。[2]此村早年属附輋乡，设大队后归大华乡；1986年改设村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年又称村民委员会。[2]
