历史沿革[edit]
1958年是汤南公社的新埔园大队，其后随区、镇建制改为乡（1984年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1992年），1999年恢复村委会。[1]
人口[edit]
据博雅地名网，全村辖19个村民小组，在册1212户，4473人，总面积4.8平方公里，耕地1152亩；2019年9月公布的2018年度省级民主法治示范村创建单位中有该村。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
龙上古寨占地16373平方米，据百度百科由罗氏始祖罗安在南宋景炎年间创建，坐西向东，围墙高5.5米，按八卦方位设八座哨楼，开东、南、北三门；寨内有三条街、六条巷、十二座祠堂和七十二座合院。[2]寨中的罗氏宗祠建于明嘉靖三十一年（1552年），1988年定为县级文物保护单位，2014年1月升为市级。[2]
