新楼村是梅州市丰顺县汤南镇的行政村，村委会设在新楼圩，村名由此而来。[1]村内的种玊上围（上围古寨）是广东省文物保护单位，村子于2013年8月入选第二批中国传统村落。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期先有初高级社；1958年改大队，1984年改乡，1987年改村委会，其后1992年叫管理区，1999年起沿用现称“村民委员会”。[1]

据博雅地名网，全村辖55个村民小组，在册2662户，10321人，总面积3.8平方公里，耕地1850亩。[1]2026年3月，新楼村入选省里第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

种玊上围又称上围古寨、西门古寨，在新楼一村，是客家传统围屋。据百度百科，它动工于清顺治十年（1653年），到康熙九年（1670年）完工，面积约1.8万平方米；围墙分108段弧形墙体，合成蟹状，里面分三街六巷。它在2015年进入广东省第八批省级文物保护单位名单，2022年开始修缮。[2]博雅地名网记其始建于1652年。[1]
