地名由来[edit]
村名由两部分合成：“双”取自江伯公和江背岭两处村名，“鹿”取自鹿舞村[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
此地先后叫高级社（1956年）、双鹿大队（1959年）、双鹿乡（1983年）、双鹿管理区（1987年），1999年起称双鹿村村民委员会[3]。
村情[edit]
村情介绍说，这里604户、共2436人，辖区5.83平方公里，耕地898亩，种香芋和薯类，四成以上村民养塘鱼；2011年另花40多万元，在双鹿小学一带建了文化公园[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
将军第位于双鹿下村曾屋揭坷山下，为清同治年间（1862至1874年）丁日昌所建，府第式建筑，俗称“九厅十八井”、魁龙围。三幢大屋连成一体，三进二横，花岗石墙基、青砖墙体，建筑面积4455平方米，两侧有炮楼；1988年由丰顺县人民政府公布为文物保护单位[4]。
