新渔村是惠东县黄埠镇的行政村，原名吉水村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名最初寄意平安兴旺，称吉水村，因村民主要从事渔业，改称新渔村。[1]吉水小乡于1951年12月设立，属惠阳县第十七区；1958年为明星社，1959年为新渔大队，1983年为新渔乡，1987年3月为村委，1989年为管理区，1999年起称村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月被列为2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
