围龙村是惠阳区良井镇的行政村，村名来自最早定居者所建的客家围龙屋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传梅州平南人迁此定居。1951年撤村设乡，称围龙乡；1956年10月，围龙、霞角、桥背、龙塘四乡并为良井区的霞角乡，民间叫它“中等乡”；到1957年下半年围龙脱离，自办农业高级社。1958年石坟洋小组从新塘乡划入，羊角头小组从霞角乡划入。1999年撤区改村；2003年惠阳撤市设区后，称惠阳区良井镇围龙村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2023年4月被列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]
