矮光村是惠阳区良井镇的行政村，惠阳区革命老区村之一，2017年获“全国文明村镇”称号。^[1]^[2]

名称与历史[edit]

村名原作矮岗李，因李氏先人原居地有一座矮山岗，客家话“光”与“岗”同音，后改写为矮光。1962年矮岗大队与大元坝大队合并为大光大队，1964年改称矮光大队，1999年成立村民委员会。^[1]

据村概况介绍，全村面积8平方千米，辖13个自然村、8个村民小组，总人口2358人，耕地2675亩，其中约1600亩出租办菜场。村里引进三家农业企业，建有喷灌、大棚和有机种植一体的示范基地。^[2]

2011年获评广东省宜居村庄；2017年11月获中央文明委授予第五届全国文明村镇称号；2022年1月被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2023年11月认定为「第三批全国乡村治理示范村」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。^[1]^[2]
