双田村是惠州市惠阳区秋长街道所辖的行政村，相传明代居民主要姓孙、姓田，“孙”与“双”在客家话中谐音，村名由此而来[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
抗战期间（1939年至1945年），东江纵队的叶特香、邓秀芳等人曾在这里进行抗日宣传[1]。双田在1964年划入周田大队，1970年又从周田分出，另立双田大队；1989年称管理区，1999年成为双田村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
文化[edit]
双田村在2019年9月被列为「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。
