历史沿革[edit]
合作化时先有5个初级社，1956年并成五一高级社，次年易名东坡高级社；1958年成东坡大队，1984年设乡政府，1987年改为村民委员会[1]。
人口民族[edit]
14个村民小组（有峡蛇、东合、连塘），313户、1493人（该页未标年份），内有贫困户38户98人[1]。
地理环境[edit]
村域约8.35平方千米，耕地1483.5亩，山地11530亩[1]。
经济[edit]
种水稻、甘蔗、砂糖桔，集体经济薄弱，没有村办企业[1]。2020年8月，食用菌使东坡村入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2026年1月又获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。
