花山村是广宁县赤坑镇东北部的行政村，村委会在南街至赤坑、北市的X443县道旁，东面与北市镇接壤。辖区面积23.2平方公里，辖30个村民小组，总人口3120多人，村委会距镇政府8公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
花山始建于清康熙七年（1668年），谢姓、曾姓居民先后迁入。清道光年间属永义铺；民国时期属二十五区，1930年设花山乡，后并入雍熙乡。[2]新中国成立后，1951年为三区花山乡，1958年起为花山大队（1961至1963年一度拆为花山、大炉二队），1983年改乡，1987年起设村委会，1998年定名为村民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
村里山地多，林木以松、杉、竹为主，土特产有蜂蜜、笋干、白花茶油和风栗。[1]
