历史沿革[edit]
据村情记载，民国期间属白石上乡十三堡，随后解放初为十三村，随后1959年为大成公社下湾大队，随后1984年设下湾乡政府，随后1987年成为下湾村民委员会，随后1990年称上湾管理区办事处，随后直到1999年才称下湾村民委员会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，村内设27个村民小组，在册482户、2500人，总面积12平方千米，耕地650亩；种植的作物主要是水稻、小麦和玉米[1]。村里种八角、粉蕉、生姜和马铃薯；记载称上一年农村经济总收入750万元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[1]
