水路村在化州市丽岗镇西南部，辖11个村民小组，在册1089户、6139人，面积9.2平方千米，耕地2450亩。[1]
2019年9月，水路村进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1937年至解放初属尖岗乡。公社时期（1958年）为镇安公社下属的水路大队，到1983年成为水路乡，1987年并入丽岗乡。丽岗镇1988年建立后，这里设水路村民委员会，1989年名称改为水路管理区办事处，1999年起定名水路村民委员会，一直沿用。[1]

年平均气温约22.6℃，年降雨量约1720毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种水稻、花生、番薯、玉米，特色收入有花生和玉米；近年种养业发展较快，形成种桑养蚕、玉米、香蕉与养鱼、养猪、养鸡鸭并行的格局。[1]
