乐堂村是广东省茂名市化州市南盛街道下辖的行政村，在街道东南，辖15个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，民国后期（1937至1949年）属安乡，土地改革时属山尾乡，在此成立乐堂；1958年公社化时，它与克妮农业社并作一个大队，归南盛圩，叫乐堂大队。1983年改乐堂乡，其后是村民委员会（1985年）、管理区办事处（1989年），1999年又定为村民委员会，沿用到如今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村民委员会自述（未注年份）：在册931户、4656人，土地约8735亩，耕地5423亩；种香蕉、水稻、花生，山岭和鱼塘发包是特色收入，上一年农村经济总收入3575万元；村里调整农业结构，推广香蕉、甘蔗和丰产林。[1]
