南盛村是广东省茂名市化州市南盛街道下辖的行政村，在街道西面，辖14个村民小组，村名与街道同名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，1961年，这里是镇安区的南盛公社，1965年降为南盛大队。1983年公社改设区公所，辖地成了南盛乡；其后依次为村民居委会（1985年）、管理区办事处（1989年）；1999年定名南盛村民委员会，名称沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村民委员会自述（未注年份）：在册900户、4165人，土地约4639亩，耕地4077亩；种蔬菜、水稻，外出务工经商是特色收入，上一年农村经济总收入3530万元；村里发展蔬菜腌制业，带动农民增收。[1]2019年10月，该村入选2019年广东省卫生村名录。[1]
