谷篢村是高州市南塘镇下辖的行政村，博雅地名网写作谷贡村[1]。相传村里有个大窟窿，谷子不断从里面流出，起初叫“谷窿”，后改为谷篢[1]。2026年1月，该村进入广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村名单[1]。
地名与沿革[edit]
传说此地有个大窟窿，谷子源源不断地从中流出，所以初名“谷窿”，后来改成“谷篢”[1]。1958年公社化时为谷篢兵营，1961年拆为高车、谷篢和池岸三队，1963年并为谷篢大队，1983年改谷篢乡，1986年改农村管理区，1999年改称谷篢村民委员会[1]。
发展[edit]
据百度百科，村里推广杂交水稻和荔枝、龙眼种植，建了杨岸新村；所辖高车村依托「鉴江印象」乡村振兴示范带发展生态旅游，建有风雨廊桥和吊桥，并有夜间经济；村党总支还修复河堤和灌溉渠道，办起长者饭堂[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，谷篢村入选广东省卫生村名录（2019年度）；2019年9月在广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单之列[1]。
