历史沿革[edit]

周岸大队成立于1958年；此后1983年称周岸乡，1986年称周岸农村管理区，到1999年设村民委员会，一直延续到现在^[1]。

据百度百科，村总面积8平方千米，耕地1486亩，在册840户、3490人（该条未注明年份）；种植香蕉、荔枝、龙眼，村里设有工业园区，近年又发展火龙果种植，走“一村一品”的路子^[2]。

2019年9月，周岸村在广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单之列；2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号^[1]。
