山蕉窝村在电白区黄岭镇南部，离镇政府3公里；辖7个村民小组，在册352户、1520人，总面积1.5平方公里，耕地950亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
山蕉窝大队是1978年从黄岭生产大队分出来的；其后1983年改乡，1987年设村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年再称村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村里每年种两造水稻，特色收入有红烟和四季豆，并养殖肉猪、牛、鸡、鸭；博雅地名网转述的村介绍称外出务工的有500多人，创造劳务收入近500万元。[2]
村镇荣誉[edit]
2019年9月入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
