历史沿革[edit]
1954年起归七庄乡，1959年东后、川东各成立生产大队，1984年合并设东后乡，1987年2月起分为东后、川东两个村委会，1989年合并为川东管理区，1999年定名为川东村民委员会。[1]
2019年9月，川东村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
