历史沿革[edit]
塘龙在1958年为大队，1984年为塘龙乡，1986年为塘龙村，1989年为管理区；1998年10月9日恩平市政府批准定名塘龙村民委员会[1]。
人口经济[edit]
村委会设6个村民小组，291户、1190人，面积3.41平方千米，耕地1037亩；居民以务农为主，也有不少人出外或出国谋生[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
唐明照故居建于1918年，出资者是旅美华侨唐亦朴，即唐明照的父亲；楼为砖木结构，中西合璧，共5层，高15米，占地131.21平方米，第五层四角设有燕子窝和枪眼[2]。2007年1月26日，恩平市人民政府公布它为市级文物保护单位[2]。江门日报报道，近年村里改造了故居巷道和庭院、通往省道S369线的道路及村道，并新建停车场[3]。
著名人物[edit]
唐明照（1910至1998年）出生于恩平华侨家庭，少年时全家迁居旧金山，回国后考入清华大学政治系，1931年入党[2]。唐闻生是其女儿，1943年生，曾任毛泽东、周恩来等领导人的英文翻译，退休前任中国侨联副主席等职[2]。
