历史沿革[edit]
这里1922至1957年为水塘乡，1958年改作大队，1984年复称乡，1986年为管理区，1998年10月9日恩平市政府批准定名水塘村民委员会[1]。
人口经济[edit]
农业户口487户，总人口1709人，面积约2平方千米，耕地900亩[1]。村委会有一口约70亩的鱼塘，是村集体收入的来源；近年又新建了一栋三层的办公楼，首层约200平方米出租为商铺[1]。2023年11月，水塘村被列入广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村名单[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
禤荣故居建于1935年，在水塘村委会下隔巷村。禤荣生于1894年，卒于1986年，又名禤全光，曾任恩平县农民自卫军团团长，1927年入党[1]。
